The actress explained that the couple threw a party at her friend Huma Qureshi's place, marking the parents' very first casual encounter. Farah Khan had asked about that initial meeting, and Sonakshi noted how everyone, including Huma's folks, had a blast at the event.

Farah quizzed Poonam Sinha, Sonakshi's mom, on whether she sensed something brewing, and she confessed she had. "Sonakshi was sitting on the foot of Zaheer's mother", Poonam shared. Farah quipped back hilariously, "No one sits on their own parent's feet".

Joint birthday bash

Recently, Sonakshi celebrated her dad Shatrughan Sinha and husband Zaheer's birthdays together. Pooja Ruparel shared a video on social media of Sonakshi in the middle cutting the cake with them. Ramesh Sippy enjoyed the party, and Poonam Sinha looked very happy.

For those who don't know, Shatrughan and Zaheer's birthdays are just one day apart. Shatrughan was born on December 9th, while Zaheer celebrates his on the 10th.
