We all loved the era of the 80's where tight leather pants, shiny dresses and discos were in style.
Well, Sajid Khan is all set to make you groove to the 80's style in his disco song 'Thank God It's Friday' which has Sonakshi Sinha dancing to the tunes of choreographer Chinni Prakash from his upcoming film Himmatwala.
In the 80's Sridevi and Parveen Babi were leading the industry with their charisma & style.

That is the reason why Sajid Khan decided to give Sonakshi Sinha the look of these 2 popular actresses. Manish Malhotra has designed these looks for Sonakshi and well looking at the pictures we can say that he has managed to give her just the perfect look.
The first avatar of Sonakshi is that of a vintage sequined golden dress and headband which strikingly resembles Parveen Babi's look in the song 'Pyaar Karne Wale' from the film Shaan. And the other look where she is wearing Black tight pants, jacket and boots is inspired from Sridevi's disco look from Chaalbaaz.
When asked Sonakshi about the look and doing the song, she said, "Manish has done a fantastic job and I absolutely love both my looks. I also watched the original videos of these two songs before I started shooting. I would even watch other songs in the vanity to understand the dancing and the style of that era."
With this glimpse of the song and Sonakshi's 80's style, we are sure that the song will be nothing less than a firecracker!
