On Thursday evening, a section of the media started floating the news that veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah has been hospitalised. Soon, fans of the actor took over social media expressing their concern about his health. However, 'The Wednesday' actor's son Vivaan shah took to his Twitter and rubbished all the rumours.

According to Saira, her father Lieutenant General Zameer Uddin Shah, had spoken to the veteran actor a short while ago, and was assured that Naseeruddin Shah is hale and healthy.

Meanwhile, the three-time National Award-winning actor Naseeruddin Shah is utilising a substantial part of his lockdown hours catching up on the plays of William Shakespeare.

Shah has two sons, Vivaan and Imaad, both actors. He was last seen in 2017 film, 'The Hungry' directed by Bornali Chatterjee, was a modern day adaptation of Shakespeare's 'Titus Andronicus'.
