Somi Ali's good deed

Remember Somi Ali? Aaj tak, people knew of her as Salman’s former girlfriend. But now, the lady’s in news for a different reason.
In 2006 Ali, a former Bollywood actress, started a not-for-profit organization called No More Tears Inc to help domestic violence victims in Florida. Ali funds her organization in part by giving 10 percent of the revenue from her clothing company called So-Me Designs.
And recently, Somy’s foundation helped Edith McEacheron and her 19-month-old son Matthew originally from Venezuela, after Edith’s husband left her and their toddler son with no money and no way of getting any. She is now in the final stages of trying to get a work permit and is looking for a job. No More Tears pays for her room and her attorney.
