Sobhita Dhulipala is grabbing attention as she begins her Hollywood venture in the upcoming movie Monkey Man, where she stars alongside Dev Patel.
Anurag Kashyap, who directed Sobhita in her debut film 'Raman Raghav 2.0,' expressed support for Sobhita's Hollywood journey. He shared the trailer of Monkey Man on his Instagram story.

“Thank you Sir! Trivia: I auditioned for Monkey Man in 2016. It was a day before we (Anurag and Sobhita) left for the Cannes Film Festival with Raman Raghav 2.0 (My debut). Been a beautiful ride. Thank you for the vibes and wonder,” read Sobhita’s reply.
The movie's trailer was recently revealed, offering a glimpse into Dev Patel's character seeking revenge against the underworld due to childhood traumas.

Directed by Dev Patel, the film was finished in 2021 and later acquired by an OTT platform for a reported 30 million dollars. This film represents Dev's first venture into directing and features actors such as Sharlto Copley, Pitobash, Sikandar Kher, Vipin Sharma, Ashwini Kalsekar, Adithi Kalkunte, and Makarand Deshpande in supporting roles. The scheduled release date for the film in the United States is April 5.
