Smriti Mandhana and Palash Muchhal's wedding, highly anticipated by fans across India, was set to be a grand celebration on 23 November. But the wedding has now been postponed indefinitely amid a health concern involving Smriti’s father.

An old video of Smriti Mandhana’s appearance on Amitabh Bachchan’s popular quiz show ‘KBC’ has resurfaced. She had appeared on the show alongside cricketer Ishan Kishan. During the show, she was asked by a fan about the qualities she looks for in a man, a question that completely stumped her.




A fan curiously wanted to know what traits she valued in a partner. “Smriti ma'am. You have so many male followers on Instagram. What are the qualities that you like in a man?” a fan asked.

What qualities does Smriti Mandhana want in her partner?

Smriti admitted that the question caught her off guard, "I did not expect such a question.”

Cricketer went on to explain the qualities she finds important, “Accha ladka ho that is very important.” Big B prompted her to clarify what she meant by “accha ladka”

She further elaborated, “He should be caring and understand my sport. That is two major qualities that he should have.”

“Because as a girl I will not be able to give him that much time. That thing he should understand and he should care about. These are the things which are top priority. These are the qualities which I will look in a man," she added.

Smriti’s manager, Tuhin Mishra, confirmed on the day of their wedding that, "Smriti is very clear that she wants her father to recover first and then resume the wedding. It has been indefinitely postponed.”

Mandhana has removed all wedding-related posts from her social media. All wedding posts, engagement announcements, reels, and the proposal video have disappeared from her account. However, earlier casual photos with Palash remain intact on her Instagram.
