Singer Madhushree, Jagjit Singh, Ramesh Sippy and Kiran Juneja and Kiran More and his wife Raavi were among the others present.People usually bring in their birthdays, but if you're Anup Jalota, you sing in your birthday. Literally! Coz a host of singers and musicians graced his birthday celebrations, and some like Hariharan and Talat Aziz even took to the mike, entertaining the packed-to-the-hilt hall of guests and well-wishers.
Vijay Kalantri, dressed in traditional Indian clothes, roamed the room, glass in hand, conversations at the tip of his tongue. Nisha Jamvwal was the lady in red, standing out in her bright coloured dress and matching purse as she engaged in conversation with the hosts and later with Ravi Dubey and Yuktaa Mookhey. Poonam Dhillon also stood out in an ornate orange Indian dress. Anu Ranjan, however, looked a little out of place, dressed in jeans and a casual kurta, while the others had taken the effort to dress their best. Bijon Das Gupta seemed to have lots to say, he was first seen sharing a laugh with Satish Kaushik and then having an intense discussion with Ronit Roy. Talat Aziz talked music with Abhijeet. And when it was time to dance, the birthday boy himself stepped onto the dance floor, and was sportingly accompanied by his wife Medha. Of course, there was the birthday cake, the cake-cutting and the feeding, after which some singers took to the stage while Ila Arun and Anju Mahendroo relaxed on the cushions on the ground, enjoying the live performance. Singer Madhushree, Jagjit Singh, Ramesh Sippy and Kiran Juneja and Kiran More and his wife Raavi were among the others present.
