Simi Garewal finds competition in Karan Johar?

Bollywood actress and now television chat show host Simi Garewal who hosted a popular chat show on TV once may find competition in filmmaker and celebrity chat show host Karan Johar.
While Simi Garewal may be the person to start the trend of celebrity chat shows on Indian television, filmmaker Karan Johar has definitely taken it to the next level. According to a news report in Mid-Day, Simi has decided to push back the new season of her chat show 'India's Most Desirable' that is a revamped version of her once popular 'Rendezvous With Simi Garewal'.

The reason for Simi to push back the new season of her chat show is because she reportedly feels there should be a gap between celebrity chat shows as it leads to audience fatigue. The report mentions that back in 2011 Simi's show had gone on air immediately after Karan's 'Koffee With Karan Season 3'. While Simi's show also includes the topmost celebs of the country, her last stint wasn't that rewarded by the audiences.
With Aamir Khan's show 'Satyamev Jayate' also currently on air, Simi apparently wants the audience to have a breather in between. We think it is a good move, as every episode of 'Koffee With Karan' so far has been a topic of conversation, it is in fact a smart move for Simi to shift her show further. There is no harm in accepting that Karan Johar is after all a tough competitor!
