After wrapping up ‘Yodha’, actor
Sidharth Malhotra is about to hit the shooting floors with his upcoming cop drama which will mark his first collaboration with
Rohit Shetty. Reportedly, the actor’s first shooting schedule will begin on March 10.
Touted to be Sidharth’s digital debut, Mid Day reported that the series got Shetty’s team working relentlessly on the script and story building.
Going by the same source, it seems that the action king wants the series to reflect his signature style to attract a global audience and compete with other cop dramas of the OTT realm.
While the makers are yet to unveil the title of the series, it will be shot in different locations across Mumbai. It will mark the directorial debut of
Sushwanth Prakash who has previously worked with Rohit Shetty in films like ‘Simmba’ and ‘Dilwale’.
Besides Sidharth Malhotra’s yet-untitled drama with Rohit Shetty, the actor has a set of interesting films lined up in his pipeline. While he will be next seen in ‘Thank God’ and ‘Yodha’, he is currently waiting for the release of espionage thriller ‘Mission Majnu’ co-starring
Rashmika Mandanna.
The film is slated to debut in theatres on 10 June.
Sidharth was last seen in ‘Shershaah’ alongside rumoured girlfriend-actor
Kiara Advani.
