Sidharth Malhotra is celebrating the fourth anniversary of his film 'Shershaah'. The actor took to his social media account to pay tribute to the movie in which he featured as Captain Vikram Batra. Take a look at what he posted on his stories.

Sharing the poster on his Instagram stories, Sidharth added a caption that read, "4 years… And the pride, the love, and the memories remain just as strong. Capt. Vikram Batra (PVC): This will always be my honour." He also added the Indian flag at the end of his caption.

'Shershaah' was based on the life of Captain Vikram Batra, a young army officer who laid down his life for the country during Operation Vijay in 1999. He was later honored with the Param Vir Chakra, which is India's highest military decoration, awarded for displaying distinguished acts of valor during wartime.

Sidharth played a dual role in the film—Captain Batra and his twin brother, Vishal. Meanwhile, Kiara Advani essayed the character of Dimple Cheema, the captain's fiancée.

'Shershaah' is special for Sidharth Malhotra, as his ladylove in the film turned into his real-life partner. After falling in love with each other during the shoot, the couple tied the knot in 2023.

The actor is gearing up for the release of his next, 'Param Sundari', with Janhvi Kapoor. Directed by Tushar Jalota, the film will hit theaters on August 29, 2025. The film tells a story about a North Indian man falling for a girl from South India. The makers have released the trailer today, and it is receiving a lot of love from the audience.


Apart from this, Sidharth also has 'Vvan: Force of the Forest', a fantasy film based on Indian mythology. Directed by Arunabh Kumar and Deepak Kumar Mishra, the film will feature Tamannaah Bhatia as the leading lady. It is scheduled to release in theatres in 2026.
