It took
Siddhant Chaturvedi a while to get his big break in Bollywood. However, the 'Gully Boy' actor is now much-in-demand. Through his struggle, his parents have stood firmly by him. Though they have no connections to the film industry, he does turn to them for advice. On Father’s Day, Siddhant spoke about his dad Laxman Chaturvedi and the lessons he has imbibed from him. “The trait of my dad’s that I value the most is how he always sticks to his roots. From him, I have learnt that you need to be real and can’t get carried away by this big city,” he said.
Siddhant, who pens poetry very often and recently came out with his first single, took to social media and posted a picture with his father on his Instagram handle on the occasion of Father’s Day. Along with it, he penned a few lovely lines, which read, “Jaane kaisi Ghadi pehnte hain Papa... Ache-Bure Samay ke saath-saath, Zindagi ka Tajurba aur Tareeka bhi batati hai. #TajurbeWaaliGhadi ⌚️ #CoachChaturvedi#HappyFathersDay (sic).” Check it out here:
On the work front, Siddhant will next be seen in 'Bunty Aur Babli 2' and in another film that will be directed by Shakun Batra. The latter, which is a relationship drama, will have him sharing screen space with Deepika Padukone and Anaya Panday.
