Actress Shriya Saran who was part of the Oscar-winning film blockbuster 'RRR’, has opened up about how creating barriers between Bollywood and South cinema can make actors uncomfortable.

In an interview with a news portal, Shriya feels that there’s one cinema, one industry. The actress added that when Naatu Naatu performed an Oscar, now, you, first of all, know the word which probably you didn’t know and then it was performed there it says Indian Cinema it wasn’t a Telugu song, it wasn’t a Telugu film it was an Indian film and so you have to appreciate that.

According to her, In our country, it is Indian cinema because the more you put these barriers, the more it becomes a little uneasy for a lot of people so the more you say Bollywood and South it gets a little uncomfortable for someone from the south. The actress feels it’s Indian Cinema first of all.


Meanwhile, on the work front, Shriya is making headlines for her recently released film 'Music School', which is Telugu-Hindi musical drama that stars Sharman Joshi in the lead role with Shriya.

The film has been directed by Papa Rao Biyyala and the music has been given by the legendary Ilayaraaja.
