Shreyas Talpade confirms that director Rohit Shetty is working on the story of 'Golmaal 5'

Filmmaker Rohit Shetty's Golmaal series is one of the most loved franchise and it is also close to the director's heart. His last directorial was Ranveer Singh starrer 'Simmba' (2018) and currently working on Akshay Kumar's cop-drama 'Sooryavanshi'. In a recent interview with Cineblitz, Shreyas Talpade from the successful Golmaal franchise confirmed that Rohit is working on the story of Golmaal 5 and hopes that they start shooting the film by next year.


Shreyas told Cineblitz that they gave all a small hint in 'Aankh Maare' and the director is also very keen that we do the fifth part of Golmaal. He further added and said that the filmmaker is working on a story right now. Rohit will tell them what the dates will be for shooting but he feels that it will be in 2020 when they should probably shoot.


He also added that he is keeping his fingers crossed as it is a great franchise and we all have a good time shooting it. They all want to do the fifth part and are hopeful that Rohit cracks the story soon and call them for the shoot.

Meanwhile, the last film from the series titled 'Golmaal Again' starred Parineeti Chopra, Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Shreyas, Kunal Kemmu, Arshad Warsi and Tusshar Kapoor.
