Shreya Ghoshal celebrates 19 years of her debut film, ‘Devdas’, thanks Sanjay Leela Bhansali for believing in her

Shreya Ghoshal made her singing debut in Bollywood with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s iconic film, ‘Devdas’. The film that starred Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit and Jackie Shroff, completes 19 glorious years today.Taking to her Twitter handle, Shreya shared a few pictures from the movie along with a heartfelt post.Check out the post here:

She wrote, ‘19 years ago on this day I made my debut in Hindi Films in the iconic film #Devdas It’s still vivid in my memories of the magical years of the making of the music. Always grateful to #SanjayLeelaBhansali sir for believing in that 16 year old girl and my parents for being there days and nights with me to make me into what I am today.’The ace singer also shared a tribute to the late legendary actor Dilip Kumar on the occasion who played the iconic character of ‘Devdas’ for the first time on the silver screen before Shah Rukh Khan.Shreya recently became a proud mother to her baby boy who the singer has named Devyaan.
