', which is based on the malpractices of the education system. The actress, who has web shows to her credit, has also been a model and a popular face in commercials. Not many know that Shreya is a dancer and has trained in dance forms like Bharatnatyam, Kuchipudi and Kathak. This beauty with brains also holds a BTech degree, and interestingly, the story of 'Cheat India' revolves around the malpractices in Engineering and other institutes in the country.

Talking about the film, Shreya said that she is aware of the crimes that infest the education system. She believes that the subject is topical, compelling and engaging, catering not just to students, but also parents. According to reports, Shreya was finalised from over 50 girls, who auditioned for the role. A complete natural in front of the camera, her inherent simplicity and charm impressed the makers.

The film is slated to release in January next year.
