Shraddha Kapoor charges more money than Alia Bhatt, Ananya Panday says Shakti Kapoor as he laughs at claims that her daughter isn't getting work: 'Woh ziddi hai, she does 1-2 films a year'

Shraddha Kapoor gave one of the biggest hits of last year, 'Stree 2'. The film created box office history and went on to earn Rs 857 crore at the worldwide box office. Despite such a huge hit, Shraddha's movies in a year have not increased. It can be noticed that the actress does fewer films in a year than her counterparts and Shraddha also is not always seen in the public eye and at events like other actresses. While her on-screen presence is also limited, Shraddha's father Shakti Kapoor has now given the reasons for it.

Shakti was asked that there are people who say that Shraddha has got less opportunities than Alia Bhatt and Ananya Panday. Responding to it, Shakti said, "Woh picturein hi kam karti hai. Par paisa zyada leti hai. In sabse zyada paisa leti hai. She does just one or two films a year. (She does very few films but charges more than all these people)."




He further laughed at it and expressed shock, "She's not getting work?"

Speaking about his daughter’s nature, Shakti Kapoor shared, “She is very stubborn and does what her heart says. She has certain ethics and follows them strictly.”

Opening up about their relationship, he added, “We share a great relationship. Sometimes we fight, sometimes we plan holidays, sometimes we discuss films. I am very proud of her—her performances are outstanding. She is a very fine actor.”

As per reports, Shraddha Kapoor charges Rs 15 crore per film while Alia Bhatt is said to charge Rs 12 crore and Ananya Panday Rs 5 crore. Shraddha is currently working on 'Eetha' and she recently confirmed that she's a part of her boyfriend Rahul Mody's next film.
