To make people aware about issues like wearing seat belts, helmets, walking on the zebra line, etc, we are making this ad film, which will go on air soon. The ad will not only be shown on TV channels but also in cinema halls across UP."
The ad is being directed by Ravi Bhatia, who shares, "We are weaving seven different stories into one ad. All the seven stories will be shown with a special theme song in the backdrop. We will be submitting the ad by April end and it will go on air by May first week. It will be shown on channels in UP as well as on national GECs."
Actor Anirudh Dave, who was last seen in the TV serial Bandhan, says he has a personal connect with the theme of the ad film. "Only a few days back I lost a very close family member in a road accident. So, I can actually relate with the cause," he says.
Mohit Dagga, who was last seen opposite actress Shilpa Shirodkar in Ek Mutti Aasmaan is playing an office-goer in the ad, who commutes on a bike. "While leaving the house one day, my wife requests me to wear the helmet for my safety, but I royally ignore her request and meet with an accident on the road and die. Even though the story is not new, the way it is being treated will be worth watching. The song which has been specially composed for this ad film has beautiful lyrics," he adds.
