Shooting in Bihar was interesting, says Hazel
Hazel Crowney is happy actor working opposite Ravi Kissen in her upcoming film. And, she enjoyed her stay in Bihar while the shoot of the film. Excerpts from the interview:
What made you do the film and how was the experience?
The setting of the film attracted me a lot. It showed the underworld of India and it fascinated me. It was a different experience for me altogether.
1x1 polls
I saw a different side of Indian people when I went to Bihar. It was interesting.
What was your character all about?
There is nothing dramatic about my character. I get linked to the Bihari people who come to work in her house and their underworld links. The storyline is very dramatic and I chose the film for the same. The story is different, dramatic and exciting.
How is Ravi Kissen?
The entire team made sure to comfort me. The shoot happened in Bihar and it was not easy. We shot in actual traditional villages in real settings. We had experiences with a snake, real guns, over 5000 people visiting us on the sets everyday with cows, donkeys and camels etc. But my co-star Ravi Kissen was really sweet, nice and helpful even though the crowd was coming to get a glimpse of him.

From home to Mumbai and Bihar, it has been a long journey for you. Do you miss your family?
Yes, I sure do. We love India so most vacations are spent here, but I go home to England when I get a time. I cannot force my family to come and settle here. So I also go home to be with them (Smiles).
What next to expect from Hazel Crowney?
Currently, I am shooting for an item song in a film.
