Shivaleeka Oberoi has been in the news recently for her second film 'Khuda Haafiz', which had a digital release. She took to social media during the weekend and posted some selfies with interesting one-liners. Looking fresh and rosy without even a hint of make-up in the above selfie, the actress wrote in the caption: "Femme & Feirce #SaturdayThoughts#WeekendVibes." In another selfie, she wrote: "Wander often, Wonder always #WeekendVibes#Nature#GoodVibesOnly." On Sunday, however, she shared a video of her at work in the garden.

She said that she won't be surprised if she comes across a snake while she pottering around in the garden. Her caption for the video was: "Going back to the roots. Literally! #sundayFunday."

The newbie seems to be much-more talked about for her second film than she was in debut film 'Yeh Saali Aashiqui', where she was seen opposite Amrish Puri's grandson Vardhan Puri, last year. Starring opposite Vidyut Jammwal, Shivaleeka plays the missing wife in a story based on real events. The actress considers herself an outsider, even though her grandfather was reportedly Mahavir Oberoi, a film producer in the 60s. In an interview to a daily, she said that her grandfather passed away when her father was 17, who then made a different identity outside the film industry, while her mother has been a teacher for 25 years. She learned of her grandfather's film past only when she graduated and started auditioning for films. She said that her journey in the film industry has been that of a complete outsider and that she believes that hard work pays off. Interestingly, the actress has worked as an assistant director on the set of 'Kick' (2014) and 'Housefull 3' (2016). And she believes that her best training came from her work behind the camera as well as working with big stars like Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan and their approach to their work and characters they portray in films. Salman, who she describes as 'very very kind', learnt of her intention to pursue acting only when the shooting of 'Kick' came to an end.
