Shilpa Shetty Kundra who ruled our hearts in the 90s and continues to slay on the small screen now recently interacted with us exclusively during an event in the city. From her comeback in

Bollywood

, to Viaan’s favourite actor, she spoke her heart out and gave us a glimpse into her thoughts about re-entering the big screen. Check out her

exclusive

interview with us right here!

Recently, Viaan had danced to Tiger Shroff’s ‘Baaghi 2’ track, and looks like he is extremely fond of Tiger. So who’d you say is Viaan’s biggest fan of in Bollywood?

He is really fond of Tiger, in fact, “fond” is an understatement. He hasn’t watched any movies other than ‘Krrish’ and ‘A Flying Jatt’, so after that he has just gone crazy. I think most children are crazy about these superheroes and I’m happy that he’s crazy about an Indian superhero and not just Ironman and Batman. So for now his favourite actor is Tiger Shroff only as he has only seen him. I don’t encourage too much TV with him and I want it to be like that for sometime.

You have been missing from Bollywood from a very long time, have you missed being a part of the big screen?

I don’t miss anything actually! Yes, I haven’t done a film for the last 11 years, but I am still working. I have never been so busy in my life and I just prioritise now that for me being at home with my son on weekends is a prerequisite, and I don’t want to change that for anything or anyone. I would love to do a movie, but because I’m doing television and fortunately for me ‘Super Dancer’ worked really well. So, I feel like people know me even more now than they ever did. I mean, I have three, four-year-olds knowing me and recognising me and knowing my name, I thought this generation won’t even know me. I feel satiated as an actor and as someone who is recognised. Whether it be through big screen or small screen, really isn’t material to me.

If given a chance what kind of a script would you choose as your comeback vehicle in Bollywood?

If I do a film after so long, it would have to be something that I haven’t done before. A character that I enjoy wanting to play. When you are doing TV, you have a lot of space, it’s just once or twice a week, so it’s easy. When you’re doing a movie, it’s 25 days at a stretch or 10 days at a stretch. So, I don’t know. But I’m open to it. If it’s a really great script, I might just say yes.

What are your thoughts on the recent Kathua and Unnao rape cases which have shook the nation?

I did speak about it on my social media and I just reiterate the same. I think it’s disgusting. I don’t know about death penalty, but I really think that the government must take action and very strict punitive action and immediately. It cannot be lingering on for so long. I’m sure the legal system is working on it and there are so many cases just piling up when it comes to rape or trampling upon the rights of a child, girls feeling unsafe, my heart really goes out to them. I would really live in fear and dread to think what I would feel or go through if I had a daughter. I don’t feel safe and it’s not a very happy feeling.
