Remember when Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty amazed us with her love for staying fit and healthy? Well, during an old trip to Rajasthan, she showed us just how much she values traditional methods by grinding grains with a traditional chakki, or stone grinder.


If you follow Shilpa Shetty online, you know she's all about yoga and staying in shape. But this time, she found something old-school – a chakki – and couldn't resist giving it a try. She shared a fun video on Instagram, dressed in a black top, light pants, and white sneakers, as she joined in on the age-old practice.

With a big smile on her face, Shilpa got down to grinding grains, joking that it would help her digest her rotis better. In her post, she explained how this activity, known as Chakki Chalasana, isn't just a workout but also strengthens arms, aids digestion, and boosts flexibility in the back and legs.

Shilpa also gave a shoutout to the people who do this regularly, acknowledging the hard work they put in. But she didn't forget her responsibility as a fitness influencer, warning her fans not to try this if they have back pain, slip-disc issues, or are pregnant.
