Shilpa gets Nostalgic about MF

Actress Shilpa Shirodkar had worked in MF Husain’s Gaja Gamini.
The actress, who is slated to makes a comeback and is currently holidaying in Goa says working with the late artist-director was “an honour, a privilege.” She was part of a short 10-day shooting stint for the film. She notes, “When he would come on the sets before the unit, he'd paint on the bare walls.Once they came, he would just talk work.” Dedication aside, she fondly remembers the maestro’s humility. “I was called to the location at 9 am one morning but my shot was taken only at midnight. Husainji personally came and apologised for making me wait so long." She adds, "He was a very focused man who knew what he wanted. A man of few words, his work spoke more about him. I am really sad that we lost such a great artist.”
