After Dharmendra’s recovery and discharge from the hospital, his longtime friend Shatrughan Sinha dropped by Hema Malini’s house to extend his support to the family in their tough time. On Monday, the actor-politician shared a couple of pictures and a heartfelt note on X, mentioning his visit to Hema Malini’s residence.

Shatrughan’s post included a series of photos that captured moments with Hema Malini and his wife, Poonam Sinha. He captioned the post, “Along with my ‘bestest half' @PoonamSinha, went to meet, greet & God bless our very dear family friend, one of the finest human beings, star/actress par excellence, artist of the highest calibre, an able Parliamentarian @dreamgirlhema. Our prayers are with them all, and we inquired about our elder brother's and the family's well-being too.”

Dharmendra's hospital stay and recovery

On Wednesday morning (November 12), veteran actor Dharmendra returned home after being discharged from Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital, where he had been receiving treatment since October 31. His family released a statement addressing the media and fans, saying, “Mr. Dharmendra has been discharged from the hospital and will continue his recovery at home. We kindly request the media and the public to refrain from any further speculation and to respect his and the family's privacy during this time. We appreciate everyone's love, prayers, and good wishes for his continued recovery, good health, and long life. Please respect him because he loves you.”

Shatrughan Sinha and Dharmendra have shared the screen in several notable films over the years. Their collaborations include the action-packed ‘Aag Hi Aag’ (1987), the adventure thriller ‘Zalzala’ (1988), the drama ‘Shehzaade’ (1989), and the film ‘Teesri Aankh’ (1982). They have also appeared together in other movies such as ‘Jheel Ke Us Paar’ (1973), ‘Dost’, and ‘Blackmail.’
