Shashank Khaitan reveals ‘Dulhania 3’ is in works; explains how ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’ is not a part of Varun Dhawan-Alia Bhatt’s franchise

‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’ director Shashank Khaitan has confirmed plans for ‘Dulhania 3’ during the trailer launch. This new installment will continue the Dulhania film series, following the successes of ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ and ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’.

When questioned about whether ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’ is part of the Dulhania series, director Shashank Khaitan responded, “My constant aim has always been to entertain and make people laugh. In today's scenario, laughter is most essential — bringing audiences to theaters to enjoy and laugh. My style is storytelling through a family entertainer — filled with fun and a wedding atmosphere. I consider myself lucky in marriage, so I feel everyone should get married, and there are people on stage who need to get married, so this is just the beginning.”


‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’ is a standalone film

Shashank Khaitan went on to confirm that ‘Dulhania 3’ is in works following the success of the previous films, namely ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ and ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’. While ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’ shares the same genre, he clarified that it is an entirely separate film. Khaitan also expressed hope and confidence, saying, “The world is sustained by hope; it will definitely happen.”
