Sharad Kelkar joins the cast of 'Housefull 4'

Sharad Kelkar, who is known for playing intense characters in films like 'Goliyon Ki Raasleela - Ram-Leela' and 'Bhoomi', has joined the cast of the fourth instalment of the comedy franchise 'Housefull'. Although Sharad had tried his hands at the genre earlier (in Hero), this will be his first out-and-out comic outing. When asked about his role, the actor says, “I am not at liberty to divulge much about my character, but all I can say is that it’s a pivotal one.” The actor adds that he tries to play different roles with every project. “I always try to do different things, be it in terms of my accent or looks. I don’t want to repeat myself. While I’ve mostly played intense characters, it’s good to do a light-hearted film,” he says.

The film also gives Sharad an opportunity to reunite with most of its cast and crew. While it marks his second collaboration with producer Sajid Nadiadwala and Riteish Deshmukh after the Marathi film 'Lai Bhaari', he will also get to work again with his 'Guest Iin London' co-actor Kriti Kharbanda and 'Mohenjo Daro' co-star Pooja Hegde. Excited about this, Sharad tells us, “It’s amazing to reunite with them. I am very fond of Riteish. We have worked together earlier and we also play for the same cricket team. It will be great fun.”
