Shantanu Maheshwari hit by bank fraud, urges swift action for security restoration!

Shantanu Maheshwari, recognised for his notable roles in films like Gangubai Kathiawadi and Tooth Pari: When Love Bites, recently found himself in a distressing incident of cyber fraud. Taking to social media to disclose the unsettling details, Shantanu informed his followers about activities in his Axis bank account. In an Instagram story, the 32-year-old actor revealed that fraudsters targeted his Axis bank account, generating a card without his knowledge. Disturbingly, his registered email ID, phone number, and address underwent changes without any verification or the receipt of a one-time password (OTP). Expressing his disbelief and frustration, Shantanu emphasised the urgency of swift action to restore security and address the unsettling situation.

Despite the cyber ordeal, Shantanu Maheshwari remains focused on his professional commitments. Currently, he is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film, "Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha," featuring Tabu and Ajay Devgn. Directed by Neeraj Pandey, the film is scheduled to hit theaters on April 26, marking the acclaimed filmmaker's return to direction after six years.
