The popular philanthropist, and art collector, Shalini Passi recently revealed that she had already shaved her hair four times and donated them.
Talking to NDTV, Shalini said that she doesn’t want to experiment with her hair as she will be ultimately donating them later.
Revealing that she has shaved her hair four times in Tirupati, Shalini said, “I don’t want to style my hair much, because ultimately I will donate it.”
The philanthropist added that most people in North India follow Sikh culture, and this makes them not cut their hair, resulting in accessorizing their locks with hairbands, flowers, tiaras, clips, and many others, when they attend some special events. For Shalini, ‘Everything comes out of necessity’
Earlier in a talk with Indian Express, Shalini said that she takes her meals at room temperature and to maintain the vitality of a 20-year-old at the age of 49, she also started manifesting, strength training, and exercising.
“I take my meals at room temperature because I sort of gave up that taste, that food part… to be able to focus on my work because sometimes food becomes a hindrance,” said Shalini. She also added that food, according to her, is for sustenance and not for taste. In another interview she also revealed, "I carry my own vegetables from Delhi when I come here, like beet and all. It’s terrible,”
With the objective of looking like a 20-year-old, the famous art collector said she needed strength, didn’t want her back to hurt, wanted her eyes to function well, and didn’t want to strain them after reading all day.
