Shakeela to do a cameo in a biopic based on her

The biopic on former South sex symbol, Shakeela is turning out to be one of the most looked forward to this year. The filmmaker Indrajit Lankesh has reportedly told a tabloid that the senior actress will make a a cameo appearance in the film being made on her. Richa Chada will be seen as Shakeela in the film.
The filmmaker, who is currently shooting the real Shakeela with the reel in Bengaluru, reportedly said that doing a biopic on someone who is alive is an advantage.This way, he can pique the audience's curiosity about the real Shakeela and take her in the film to fulfill the audience's curiosity on how she looks like now, and what she has been upto outside of films. Indrajit thought of this scene and tried to convince her to be a part of the film. The filmmaker was quite happy with Shakeela's involvement in the film and she even gave tips to Richa on her mannerisms. He revealed that she treated the cameo in the film like any other role.
