Pankaj Kapoor’s Mausam had another setback on Wednesday. It was early morning when the film’s sets caught fire, resulting in a damage of property worth 35 lakh.Our source said, “A huge set has been constructed at the SRPF Grounds in Jogeshwari, over five acres of land.
One portion of the set caught fire and there was heavy damage. But no one was hurt as the fire broke out early in the morning around 6 am, and no one was present on the sets.”
When contacted, producer Sheetal Talwar confirmed the news and said, “Yes there was a fire due to short circuit and a 60 x 40 portion interior got burnt.
There was no damage on the exterior but many furniture and other props were destroyed in the fire. It is definitely a huge damage.”
