Shahid Kapoor shares his experience of acting with Dharmendra and Dimple Kapadia in ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya; ' 'I was honoured to share the screen with my childhood inspirations'

Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon starrer ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya,’ directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah, is set to hit theaters on February 9, 2024. The movie also features veteran actors like Dharmendra and Dimple Kapadia in significant roles. In a recent chat, Shahid opened up about his experience of working with the two veteran actors.

During a press conference, Shahid said that he considered sharing the screen with Dharmendra as an honor. He described him as loving and charismatic, revealing that Dharmendra is playing the role of his grandfather. He also expressed his desire for more of Dharmendra's blessings and hugs in his life, stating that the actor's hugs are special and filled with love.

Then Shahid talked about sharing the screen with Dimple's. He stated that he admired the casting of 'TBMAUJ' and felt extremely happy when Dimple agreed to be part of the film. He believes that no one other than Dimple can do justice to this role, as she is playing the 'Maasi' (aunt) of his character in the movie. He joyfully mentioned that he has a lot of scenes with both Dimple and Dharmendra in this movie.


On an emotional note, Shahid expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to share the screen with these actors who have been an inspiration to him since childhood.
