Shahid Kapoor recently said in an interview that in a marriage, a woman enters a man's life to fix him and make him a decent human being. The comment has not gone down well with many on the internet.
In a new interview with a news portal, Shahid was asked about his take on marriage. Replying to the same, he said that the entire marriage thing is about one thing: that the guy was a mess and the woman came in to fix him. So the rest of his life is going to be a journey of him getting fixed and becoming a decent person. According to him, that's pretty much what life is about.
As soon as the video of the interview was shared on social media, comments poured in from all sides. While one user wrote, 'So raising a manchild, is what marriage is ??? Amazing', another one added, 'If she’s your babysitter, you have a nanny not a wife'. A comment also read, 'What???????? Did he go to school????? He sounds like he’s from the 1300s'.
Shahid opted for an arranged marriage where he got hitched to Mira Rajput. The couple has been married for several years now and has two beautiful kids - Misha and Zain together.
The actor is currently promoting his upcoming film, 'Bloody Daddy'. The film is slated to release on an OTT platform. It also stars Sanjay Kapoor, Diana Penty and Ronit Roy in key roles.
