Shahana, Ronit are taking Urdu coaching

Shahana Goswami, Ronit Roy and many other cast members of Deepa Mehta’s Midnight’s Children (now called Winds of Change) are taking Urdu coaching classes.
The reason - the film, based on Salman Rushdie’s one of the most acclaimed novels, will have actors, who are playing Muslims, speaking the language. “Everyone wants to give in their 100 per cent.
The use of Urdu is quite significant in the film and people want to speak the language right.So, many have taken Urdu speaking lessons from professional tutors,” says a source.
