Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Pathaan’, Salman Khan’s ‘Tiger 3’, Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Fighter’: Top 5 upcoming action films to look forward to​​

After a period of lull, Bollywood is all set to take the cinema halls by storm with its upcoming releases. We have a line-up of some star-studded, high-octane action films in the upcoming months which go all the way up to next year. From Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Pathaan’ to Salman Khan’s ‘Tiger 3’ to Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Fighter’, here are FIVE action-packed films to look forward to!

‘Pathaan’

After his last venture ‘Zero’ in 2018, Shah Rukh Khan is all set to grace the silver screen with Siddharth Anand’s upcoming film, ‘Pathaan’. The film is touted to be a spy-thriller where he will be reuniting with Deepika Padukone and sharing the screen space with John Abraham for the first time. John will reportedly be playing the antagonist in the film. SRK’s long-haired look in the film has already got all his fans super excited for the movie. It is slated to hit the theatres on January 25, 2023.

‘Tiger 3’

Salman Khan’s ‘Tiger 3’ has been one of the most awaited films in Bollywood. After the successful two installments, the makers are all set for the third part that will also star Emraan Hashmi in the role of the antagonist. However, there is still no official announcement or confirmation on the same. Apart from them, the spy-thriller franchise also stars Katrina Kaif in the lead role. The film will hit the theatres on the auspicious occasion of Eid next year.

‘Attack-Part 1’

John Abraham starrer ‘Attack-Part 1’ has been in the race for release since August 2020. However, owing to the pandemic, the movie was pushed ahead. It also stars Rakul Preet Singh and Jacqueline Fernandez in lead roles. 'Attack - Part 1' tells the story of a daring rescue mission led by India's first Super-Soldier played by John. While the trailer of the film will be unveiled on March 7, it is set to release in the theatres on April 1, 2022. The film is directed by Lakshya Raj Anand.

‘Fighter’

Hrithik Roshan is all set to enthrall his audience with his upcoming film, ‘Fighter’. The film is said to be India’s first aerial action film franchise. The Siddharth Anand’s directorial was announced on the occasion of Hrithik’s 47th birthday. The superstar will be seen sharing the screen space with Deepika Padukone. ‘Fighter’ will reportedly be made on a massive scale for a global audience. However, at the same time, it will remain true to its Indian roots and salute the valour, sacrifice and patriotism of our armed forces.

‘Dhaakad’

Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Dhaakad’ is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated action films. The character posters of the films have already raised the anticipation levels amongst the audience. The film reportedly deals with the subject of child trafficking and the exploitation of women. The action thriller also stars Arjun Rampal and Divya Dutta in lead roles. Kangana will be essaying the role of ‘Agent Agni’ in the film.
