Brand endorsements

Shah Rukh Khan is a brand in himself. His popularity has earned him a long list of endorsements. He has been the face of aerated drinks, fancy watches, mobiles, and swanky cars. Shah Rukh Khan is currently in the news for his recent Diwali advertisement which is fetching him the accolades even as he finds himself in the eye of the storm with son Aryan Khan's arrest in a drug case.

A stakeholder in Kolkata Knight Riders

Shah Rukh Khan was one of the first Bollywood actors to invest in the Indian Premier League (IPL). SRK, along with actress Juhi Chawla and husband Jay Mehta, owns the franchise Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). In 2017, Shah Rukh and Gauri also bought franchises in Cricket South Africa's eight-team T20 Global League.

Kidzania

Always a family man who loves to entertain kids, Shah Rukh bought a massive stake in Kidzania, which is an international edutainment chain for kids. After opening a successful outlet of Kidzania in Mumbai, the actor decided to invest in a second theme park in Noida. SRK reportedly has a 26 per cent stake in this venture.

VFX department

As an extension of his film business, Shah Rukh also ventured into visual effects in 2006. He opened a state-of-the-art VFX studio in Mumbai a few years ago. SRK’s company is the go-to for several Bollywood projects and was responsible for the graphics for hits like ‘Chak De! India’ (2007), ‘Ra.One’ (2011), ‘Krrish 3’ (2013), ‘Phillauri’ (2017), and ‘Zero’ (2018) to name a few. At the opening of his new VFX studio in 2017, SRK had tweeted, “25 years in Mumbai, which have given me my life. For the first time at the opening of RC VFX new office. I felt, I must have done something right".
