Shah Rukh Khan's film with daughter Suhana back on track, deets inside!

Director Sujoy Ghosh has an exciting project in the works, with Shah Rukh Khan and his daughter Suhana Khan teaming up once again. Suhana made her debut last year in Zoya Akhtar's 'The Archies.'


The father-daughter duo had already committed to a film even before 'Archies' began streaming. The movie is set to be directed by Sujoy Ghosh and produced by SRK's Red Chillies.

As per a report in Zoom, the project is back on track. They believe that working together on this project will give Suhana's career a boost. Filming for the movie is scheduled to begin in mid-2024, making it SRK's next project after 'Dunki.'

Moreover, the report also suggests that it has been disclosed that the actor and Suhana will not portray father and daughter roles in Sujoy Ghosh's film. The narrative draws inspiration from Rabindranath Tagore's 'Kabuliwala,' and Sujoy is still in the process of writing the complete screenplay. SRK takes on the role of a solitary individual who begins to harbor paternal emotions for a girl entangled in issues with anti-social elements.

While looking at Kabuliwala for inspiration, the film will also have elements from Luc Besson's 1994 thriller Leon: The Professional.
