Shah Rukh Khan wins his first National Film Award: Manager Pooja Dadlani celebrates with heartfelt message - "A deeply deserving honour.."
Shah Rukh Khan has been called the King of Bollywood, the Badshah of Hindi cinema for decades now. With his unmatched charm and versatility, he has given his audience and the industry some marvelous cinematic gems. Over the years, he had several trophies in his name; the only thing his shelf was missing was a National Award; well, not any more! Finally, after spending decades in the industry, Shah Rukh Khan had his first National Award victory. He has bagged his first-ever National Film Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role for ‘Jawan.’ The actor his overwhelmed with joy, and so is his family and fans. Not to forget, his manager, Pooja Dadlani, who took to her social media handle to express her happiness and gratitude.
Sharing a snapshot of the official certificate that mentions Shah Rukh Khan’s win for ‘Jawan.’ Pooja wrote - “Toooo happy to see @iamsrk win the National Award for Jawan… A deeply deserving honour for all that you have put into achieving this!!",
She continued, “Big hugs to @atlee47 for making a film that is garnering such accolades… big thank you to the fans for loving the film so much… for loving SRK so much! And… thank you, God!!!"
In the video, he also spoke about how the National Award is much more than just a recognition. He said, “The National Award is not just about achievement. It's a reminder that what I do matters. It tells me to keep going, keep working hard, keep creating, and keep serving cinema. In a world full of noise, to be truly heard is a blessing. And I promise to use this recognition not as a finish line, but as fuel to continue striving, learning, and giving back. This award is a reminder that acting is not just work, but a responsibility to show truth on the screen."
"Thank you for all the cheers and all the tears, and thank you for pausing your scrolling while watching me talk. This award is for you, as each award is. Yes, I would love to spread my arms and share my love, but I am a bit indisposed. But don't worry! Just keep the popcorn ready. I will be back in theatres, and soon on the screen," he concluded.
