Shah Rukh Khan’s production house has been churning out interesting content, their latest outing being Alia Bhatt starrer ‘Darlings’. The film made waves on OTT and there’s more to come from the experimental makers.
Joining the remake trend, SRK’s production has acquired the rights of 1998 comic caper ‘Dulhe Raja’. The actor is reportedly planning to remake the 90s hit and has bought blanket rights of the Govinda and Raveena Tandon starrer, reports Pinkvilla. Farhad Samji, who is calling the shots for Salman Khan’s ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’, has reportedly started work on a draft script of ‘Dulhe Raja’ remake. SRK’s team will reportedly go ahead with the remake if the screenplay merits, or else, they will continue to generate revenue from the film’s television and digital screenings. Apart from Govinda and Raveena, this entertainer also featured Kader Khan, Prem Chopra, Johnny Lever, Asrani and Mohnish Behl in pivotal roles.
