Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan breaks 5 all-time box office records

Shah Rukh Khan has created a mass frenzy with his latest release Pathaan. The Siddharth Anand directorial, which also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in lead roles, has become the highest day opener for any Hindi film ever by earning Rs 57 crore in all languages. It has surpassed the records of KGF 2, War, Thugs Of Hindostan and Bharat.

Pathaan has seen an unprecedented demand by the audience in theatres. Moviegoers thronged the cinema halls to watch Shah Rukh Khan on the big screen after four years. Thanks to a massive advance booking, increased screens and shows and fan frenzy, Pathaan became the fastest Hindi movie to cross Rs 100 crore mark in just two days of its release.

Pathaan fever has gripped the nation like never before. After breaching the 100 crore mark in two days, Shah Rukh Khan's also became the fastest Hindi movie to enter Rs 200 crore club in four days and Rs 250 crore club in 5 days by beating the likes of KGF 2 and Baahubali 2.

With Pathaan, Shah Rukh Khan has broken his own box office record. The movie has become SRK's highest grosser till date. The previous record was held by Chennai Express, which also featured Deepika Padukone in lead roles.

While Pathaan continues to break records at the domestic market, Shah Rukh Khan has created magic in overseas as well. The movie has become the highest Hindi grosser worldwide by minting Rs 550 crore in just 5 days of its release.
