Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘King’ to feature massive Rs 50 crore action sequence filmed in Europe - Reports
Siddharth Anand, hailed as one of Bollywood’s top action filmmakers, has delivered some of the industry’s biggest hits, including ‘Pathaan’, ‘War’, ‘Bang Bang’, and ‘Fighter’. The director is currently filming his upcoming project, ‘King’, featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan in lead roles, alongside Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, and Rani Mukerji. The highly anticipated film is slated for a Christmas 2026 release.
‘King’ includes a jaw-dropping Rs 50 crore action sequence
According to Bollywood Hungama, Siddharth has mounted an unimaginable action sequence at real locations of Europe and that has cost the production team Rs 50 crore. ‘King’ is one of the most expensive action films of Indian Cinema and is going all out to ensure a theatrical experience for ages. One of the key action moments of the film was shot in Europe and the team has spent an earth-shattering amount of Rs 50 crore for a 10 day action packed schedule. According to the report, the sequence was filmed in Europe with Shah Rukh, Abhishek Bachchan, and a specialized team brought on board to execute high-octane stunts for the film. Khan has also supervised the entire action, as he is very fascinated with the idea of developing something humongous for the big screen.
