Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan are very savvy and hands-on with action sequences, says VFX head of Yash Raj Films

Larger-than-life action movies are ruling the roost, is what we've largely seen as a trend, post-pandemic. Last year began with a bang with Shah Rukh Khan starrer 'Pathaan' which had adrenaline pumping action with great VFX. The highlight of the film was that fans got to see SRK and Salman Khan share screen space after 30 years. The duo was seen together again in 'Tiger 3', reprising their roles as Pathaan and Tiger. While the actors make action look quite easy, a lot goes behind it and in a recent interview, the VFX head of Yash Raj Films, Sherry Bharda has said that both the actors are quite well-versed with the process.

Sherry said during a chat with Variety that these action sequences cannot be made in a linear fashion and they have to be very interactive and inclusive. It all has to be planned in advance and need alignment from all the creative stakeholders in the process. But Salman and SRK are very savvy and hands-on with this process, revealed Sherry. He further added that when the director shows them the pre-viz that is done, which is almost a small, simplified version of the actual edit, they always have their ideas and thoughts, thus they know exactly what they are supposed to do on set.

Bharda further added that the action sequences of 'Tiger 3' had to be bigger and better than 'Pathaan' because the benchmark was already set with it. Rumours are now rife that SRK and Salman will be seen together in 'Tiger Vs Pathaan' which is touted to go on floors next year and the script is currently underway. Fans are really hoping this film happens and things fall into place on it!

At the moment, Salman is gearing up for another big actioner called 'The Bull' which is directed by Vishnu Vardhan. SRK reportedly will be starting with Sujoy Ghosh's action thriller next.
