It’s been over a year and except for a special appearance for Karan Johar’s 'Brahmastra', Shah Rukh Khan has been away from the arclights. But on Monday, he turned up at Film Studio to shoot a Republic Day episode for Remo D’souza’s dance reality show. He arrived at around 4.30 pm and shot for almost six hours. Reminiscing about his first visit to the Taj Mahal on his first salary, a princely Rs 50, SRK revealed that all the money was spent on his train ticket, leaving him with just enough for a glass of pink lassi.

“A bee fell into it, but I still drank it and puked all through my return journey,” he admitted sheepishly, going on to pose in front of the Taj Mahal on the set, saying he has never got a picture clicked with it in the backdrop for real.
On the show, the actor got a 20 minutes tribute from the contestants and the captains, Punit Pathak, Dharmesh Yelande, Karishma Chavan and Suresh Mukund, who danced to his chartbusers, 'I Am The Best' ('Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani'), 'Yeh Dil Deewana' ('Pardes'), 'Chaiyya Chaiyya' ('Dil Se'), the title tracks of 'Baadshah', 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' and 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' and 'Chammak Challo' ('Ra.One') among others. An emotional Shah Rukh reacted to it, saying, “When I am 95, I will still be dancing on 'Chaiyya Chaiyya', atop a train and in a wheelchair. And yes, I will take Remo along.”
