Shah Rukh Khan turned a proud father at a star-studded Mumbai event as his son Aryan Khan unveiled the much-awaited preview of his directorial debut, The Ba**ds of Bollywood. The evening was filled with emotional moments, witty exchanges, and heartwarming father-son camaraderie, making it a memorable milestone for the Khan family and the film industry alike.
While inviting Aryan on stage, Shah Rukh expressed gratitude to the country and its people for allowing him to entertain audiences for over three decades. He called the day special, as it marked his son’s first big step into the industry, and affectionately described Aryan as a good boy.
Aryan admitted he was extremely nervous about addressing the audience for the first time on stage. He shared that he had been rehearsing his speech continuously for two days and three nights, even preparing backups on a teleprompter and on paper with a torch, just in case. With a mix of honesty and humor, he added that if things still went wrong, he could always count on his father, Shah Rukh Khan, to step in.

SRK recalled his initial reaction when Aryan first pitched the idea of The Ba**ds of Bollywood. He admitted it took him some time to grasp the tone and vision of the project, but once he did, he was fully drawn in. He expressed happiness not just for the show itself but also for the ensemble cast, crediting them with bringing the story alive and adding magic to the screen.
The superstar went on to praise the cast, calling their performances powerful and impactful. He then invited lead actors Bobby Deol, Lakshya, and Sahher Bambba on stage, before welcoming the star of the evening—his son and debutant director, Aryan Khan. He concluded by wishing Aryan the very best as he embarks on his journey in the industry.
