Shah Rukh Khan flashes a warm smile at paparazzi as he arrives at Mumbai airport after making Met Gala debut

Shah Rukh Khan is back in India after making his Met Gala debut on May 5, and King Khan was seen arriving at Mumbai airport in style. Shah Rukh greeted paparazzi and fans with a wide smile on his face during his arrival and looked calm and composed.

In the recent video shared by paparazzi online, Shah Rukh was seen exiting the terminal at Mumbai airport with his security personnel. The ‘Jawan’ actor paired a white T-shirt with a black coat and denim blue trousers. He also carried a blue crossbody bag with him. He was seen smiling at paparazzi and fans at the airport before entering his vehicle. He completed his look with sleek sunglasses.

Khan made history this year by becoming the first Indian male actor to attend the Met Gala, held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. The 2025 gala revolved around the theme "Tailored for You," spotlighting the legacy and craftsmanship of Black fashion and tailoring. For the occasion, Khan turned heads in a custom-made ensemble by celebrated Indian couturier Sabyasachi Mukherjee, blending traditional elegance with sharp tailoring to honour the night’s theme with a distinct desi flair. He also completed his look with numerous layered pieces of jewellery and round-fit sunglasses.



Videos and pictures of the actor went viral on the internet, including clips of him speaking to the media after walking the red carpet. One such video featured him introducing himself to a member of the press, which did not sit well with some of his fans in India and around the globe.

At the same time, this year’s Met Gala also saw Kiara Advani, singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh, and Priyanka Chopra walking the grand carpet.

On the work front, Shah Rukh will next be seen in 'King' alongside Suhana Khan and Deepika Padukone.
