Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has fans of actor Shah Rukh Khan convinced that he is a 'true SRKian' after he declared a three-day public holiday in the national capital from September 8-10. While the CM declared the holiday in view of the G20 summit scheduled on September 9-10, SRK fans believe that he gave his nod to allegedly give SRK's upcoming action film a 'big boost' at the box office.

Taking to their soial media handles, fans thanked the CM for the holiday that they intend to use to create a 'tsunami at the box office'. Some even teased the CM claiming that he approved the state holiday because of a Shah Rukh dialogue in Jawan that reads, "mein bhi AAP hoon."



Having a field day cooking up hilarious posts related to the CM's latest announcement, fans took to their handles to say, "Shah Rukh Khan in Jawan prevue said mein bhi "AAP" hoon, therefore, kejriwal announced public holiday in delhi for #Jawan."

Another quipped, "KEJRIWAL THO True SRKian nikle #ShahRukhKhan ki #Jawan k khatir Delhi Band kardiye Ab ayega maza bhidu."

Another said, "So Arvind Kejriwal has declared State holiday so that people of Delhi can go and watch SRK's #Jawan in theatres. What a movie @ArvindKejriwal."

Some other fans said, "Public Holiday declared by CM Arvind Kejriwal in Delhi from 8-10 September. #Jawan will bring a Tsunami in the theatres of Delhi. UTSAV KI TAIYYARI KARO."

All Delhi government and private offices, and educational institutions, including schools and colleges, will remain closed during these three days, said the notification issued by the General Administration Department (GAD) of the Delhi government.

"As per Section 16 (3) (i) of The Delhi Shops and Establishments Act, 1954 all the commercial and business establishments situated within the jurisdiction of New Delhi Police District (as per attached map) shall remain closed from 8th to 10th September, 2023," the notification said.

As far as SRK's film is concerned, it was awarded a U/A certificate by the censor board. The Atlee directorial will release worldwide on September 7 and hope to rewrite box office history created by Pathaan that released early this year.
