Bollywood is back in business after the second wave of Covid-19 seems to be on the decline. Following safety precautions, A-listers have now resumed work in full swing. While some have decided to shoot within the confines of the city, a few have also jetted off to different locations. Celebs are keeping their schedule tight and shooting for their much-awaited films with determination! Take a look:

Amitabh Bachchan

On June 14, Amitabh Bachchan announced resuming work for his upcoming ‘Goodbye’ alongside Rashmika Mandanna and Neena Gupta. He shared a selfie while he was on his way to the film sets and wrote, “ am .. driving to work .. first day shooting after Lockdown 2.0 .. on with the PANGOLIN mask .. and the MANIFESTATION :“every day in ever way things will get better and better and better.” Ever since then, he has been actively sharing updates from the film shoot.

Shah Rukh Khan

Last week, Shah Rukh Khan resumed the shoot of his upcoming spy-thriller, ‘Pathan’ co-starring Deepika Padukone. The superstar’s swanky car, and director Siddharth Anand’s ride were seen parked outside the film sets. Sources said, “Pathan has resumed its shooting schedule after the lockdown caused due to the second wave. Intense shooting schedule awaits SRK who seems to have started the shoot first. We hear John Abraham and Deepika Padukone are set to start in the next few days. A sizeable portion of the film will be shot in this schedule before the team heads to international locations to shoot the big action and scale sequences.”

After Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham, Deepika joined the shoot of Siddharth Anand’s ‘Pathan’ and took a day off to celebrate Ranveer's birthday this month.

Alia Bhatt

Post unlock, Alia Bhatt went back to work and kickstarted preparations for her next ‘Darlings’. She shared a picture of the cover page of the film script and captioned it, "Prep." After finally returning to the sets, an emotional Alia shared with fans, “Dear #postpackupshot, you were deeply missed (heart emojis). So blessed & grateful to be back to work in full swing”.

Ranveer Singh

In June, Ranveer was spotted arriving on the sets of the untitled project. A source from the shoot informed, “Ranveer was shooting for a huge project that has been kept under wraps. Details of which will be made public soon. It’s an intense shoot today for him and Ranveer was seen in his trademark enthusiasm, ready to go. When you have a star like him excited to be on the sets, everything changes. It’s such a positive signal to the industry that things are finally restarting”.

Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor

Ranbir Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, Boney Kapoor, and Dimple Kapadia were recently spotted heading to Delhi to resume work for filmmaker Luv Ranjan’s next yet-untitled project. A source told BT, “The shoot of the film will resume this week and the cast will be in Delhi for around 15 days. This is the first major film project being in shot in NCR after restrictions were lifted last month”.

Ajay Devgn

Ajay Devgn joined the film unit of 'Thank God' at Mehboob Studio. A source close to the development added, " The makers have built heaven's set at the studio and, as the title suggests, God plays an important role in the film. Sidharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet will be joining the shoot very soon".
