Shabana Azmi’s candid picture of husband Javed Akhtar will make you smile

They’ve been married since 1984, and Shabana Azmi and Javed Akhtar continue to give us relationship goals. The veteran actress often shares pictures of her better half and her most recent post is sure to make you smile. The candid picture has Javed saab lounging in his hall, looking out of the window, seemingly lost in thought. She captioned it, “Waiting for his muse?”

Last year in January, Azmi had a bad accident and in an interview, admitted that it had been ‘close shave’.She had been in an accident on the busy Mumbai-Pune Expressway and pictures of her injured had gone viral on social media last year. In the interview, she said, “I had fainted. I was told it was a very close shave. Because of the injury to the brain, I can say that I have a brain.”
The actress had resumed work after recuperating for 40 days. Talking about it, she said, “Work keeps you going and you need to carry on. I received so much respect and concern from all parts of the world during that accident period and I think that’s one of the main reasons I recovered.”
Javed Akhtar, who was minutes ahead of her in a different car, had said, “Who could think we would have such a calamity. The accident that Shabana went through was deadly. We were in the other car, she was sleeping in the car behind us and when this accident occurred and we went back, the first thought was ‘Is she alive?’ Because the whole car was crushed, had become a heap of junk.”
