Shabana Azmi applauds 'Do Aur Do Pyaar': Vidya Balan shines, Pratik Gandhi surprises

Shabana Azmi praised Vidya Balan, Pratik Gandhi, Ileana D'Cruz, and Sendhil Ramamurthy's recent release, 'Do Aur Do Pyaar', expressing her admiration for the film. The actress remarked that she was captivated by every aspect of the movie, indicating her strong approval of the project.

Talking to Times Now, Shabana said that she saw 'Do Aur Do Pyaar' and fell in love with everything in it. It is just so intelligent and moving. Who is this girl (director Shirsha Guha Thakurta) who has just come from nowhere? She asked Atul Kasbekar (the co-producer) about Shirsha, and he told her she is very big in ad filmmaking. She is a talent to watch out for. She has just come out of nowhere and made a clean sweep.

Azmi further added that Vidya is, as usual, just exceptional. Her presence alone is enough incentive to watch this film. But the real surprise for Shabana is Pratik Gandhi. His comic timing, of which they had a glimpse recently in 'Madgaon Express', is bang-on. Pratik matches strides with Vidya all the way, and that's saying a loss. Azmi also liked Ileana D'Cruz and Sendhil Ramamurthy. Sendhil, whom she had worked with in Gurinder Chadha's 'It's a Wonderful Afterlife'. He is a very good actor and very charming. He has brought so much warmth to Vidya's secret love, Ditto Ileana. The best thing about the two lovers outside of marriage is that they are never demonized by the script.
