Shaad's playing a funny guy
Shashi Ranjan hires Shaad for Dhoom Dhadaka.
Shaad is all set to play lead role in Shashi’s next.
Newcomer Shaad Randhawa, (like very many newbies on the Bollywood block) can only dream of a hit film like Dhoom at this stage in his nascent career, but the actor sure is going places having signed Shashi Ranjan’s comedy film titled Dhoom Dhadaka.
“I am playing the lead role and am naturally very excited about it.
After Woh Lamhe and Awarapan, this is a completely different genre and it’s always challenging for an actor to take up roles which are diverse. In Dhoom Dhadaka, I play an actor who dreams of being a celluloid superstar but gets caught up in a series of comic events on the path to stardom,” says the actor who’s currently in Bangkok shooting for the first schedule of the film. The film also stars Anupam Kher, Satish Kaushik, Gulshan Grover and Satish Shah.
