Shaad and Muzaffar Ali plan a movie on Dr Lakshmi Sehgal

SHAAD ALI and his father Muzaffar Ali are reportedly planning a film on freedom fighter and social worker Dr Lakshmi Sehgal.
Saigal was the mother of Ali’s first wife, Suhasini. Dr Sehgal passed away on Monday morning and both Shaad and Muzaffar Ali were with her in her last days. Talking about the film Dr Sehgal, Muzaffar Ali said, “She was a great lady. She has left a huge void for us." As for the film, Muzaffar Ali stresses it is Shaad’s brainchild, as he was very close to his nani.He adds, “Some parts of the film are ready, it’s a project that Shaad has been passionate about.” A close friend of Shaad’s, told us, “Shaad had been following his nani around with a camera on each of his visits to Kanpur. So, for all you know this project could be a documentry on her life.”
