Sarath, Mammootty to act in Malayalam film
Sarath Kumar's first film in 'Malayalam Pazhassi Raja' is a historical film with Mammootty playing the title role of 'Pazhassi Raja'.
Sarath plays the role of a trusted commander-in- chief (Dalapathy) of the hero and it is said to be a pivotal character.
The film has been written and scripted by M T Vasudevan Nair, Malayalam's best known writer who has also written many successful films.
The film has actors Kaniha, Manoj.K.Jayan, Nedumudi Venu, Kalabhavan Mani and Padmapriya with music by Maestro Ilayaraja.
Says Sarath Kumar, " The real hero of the film is its script. It may be a coincidence that Mammootty did his first Tamil film Mounam Sammatham with me and now, I am doing my first Malayalam film with him.
It is an honour to be a part of Pazhassi Raja.��� Sarath believes that it is going to be a landmark film and will create history.
